The City Museum twin buildings, now and … a long time ago
The City Museum twin buildings were once the (old) palace of King Otto of Greece and his wife Amalia. Queen Amalia organized in 1835 the old royal gardens, which included the square in front (today’s Klauthmonos square) and much more. The Palm tree inside the Black Duck garden was planted by the queen in 1835-40.
